Dr. A.L. Spivey III

Dr. Spivey is a graduate of the Southern College of Optometry, a Member of the American Optometric Association, Tennessee Optometric Association, and the Northwest TN Optometric Association. This year he was honored by the Souther College of Optometry with a Lifetime Achievement Award! He is a Member/Deacon of the First Baptist Church in McKenzie. Dr. Al is a Member/Past President of the McKenzie Lions Club. Dr. Al started practice in 1967 and was honored as NWTOA Optometrist of the Year 1977 as well as Tennessee Optometrist of the Year 1980. He served 10 years on the Tennessee Board of Examiners of Optometry. He a past member of the National Board of Optometry, Clinical Skills Committee, and the Part III Council. He currently serves as the Tennessee State Representative for VSP. Also, he is a member of the medical staff of Regional Hospital of McKenzie. Dr. Al and his wife, Vee, have two sons--Kelly Spivey and Dr. Scott Spivey. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and playing with his five grandchildren.

Dr. Scott L. Spivey

Dr. Scott Spivey is a graduate of the Southern College of Optometry, a Member of the American Optometric Association, the Tennessee Optometric Association, and Past President of the Northwest TN Optometric Association. He is a Member/Past President of the McKenzie Rotary Club. Dr. Scott started practice in 1994. He is a member of Regional Hospital of McKenzie Medical Staff. He is a clinical examiner for the National Board of Optometry. Dr Scott currently serves on the Tennessee Board of Optometry. He also serves as a Deacon at First Baptist in McKenzie. He enjoys golf, hunting, camping, and coaching various children's teams. He and his wife, Dr. Jennifer Spivey, have 3 beautiful children: Brooke, Kelsey, and Luke who all attend school in McKenzie .

Cynthia Bryant, CPOT, NCLC

Cindi is a registered Optometric Technician and Certified Contact Lens Examiner with 30 years of experience. She is also our Clinic Administrator. Cindi is a member of the American Optometric Association education team and the Tennessee Paraoptometric Association. She has been honored with the Tennessee Paraoptometric of the Year twice, Paraoptometric of the South, and the American Foundation for Vision Awareness Career Achievement Award. She is married to Dr. Michael Bryant of the McKenzie Medical Center. Cindi's family: Andrea Harrington of Greenfield with her husband,Travis; Jeff of Lakewood, WA,; Elizabeth Emerick who resides on Anderson Island, WA with her husband, Doug; Heather of Martin, and Nick of McKenzie.   And, of course, her grand-daugher, Callie!

Donna Finley, CPOA, NCLC

Donna is a Registered Optometric Assistant and Certified Contact Lens Examiner nearly  25 years in the health-care field. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, a current officer of the Tennessee Paraoptometric Association (as well as past president), and has previously received Tennessee Paraoptometric of the Year. Donna is married to Ken Finley, a supervisor for H&M Construction, and has 2 lovely daughters, Beth & Pamela. She is blessed with two special grandchildren, Zane and Kenzie Beth, the children of Beth and her husband,Dustin in Missouri.  Beth is a teacher  and IT specialist in her school system, and Pamela, of Tampa, Florida, is an NCP in ______ Oncology Department.

Allison Craddock, CPO

Allison is a Certified Paraoptometric and fully trained in optical laboratory procedures and frame styling.  She strives to keep our frames the newest and best quality! She attends frequent seminars to stay updated on new styles and lens options. Allison is a member of the Tennessee Optometric Association and has served as an officer several years. She has also been named as the Tennessee Paraoptometric of the Year.  Allison is married to Brian Craddock, a part-time coach and an employee of Norandal. They have two sweet daughters: Carla and Claire who are extremely active in sports and friends.  Look for Allison at any softball game!

Carol Crocker, Business Office Manager

Carol is one of the pleasant and professional staff member that you will see in the insurance/business office. She has been in the healthcare field for over 15 years. Carol is trained in the areas of insurance and accounts receivable and attends classes and seminars to stay current with your needs. She is married to David Crocker, an employee of TAP Industries. They have one wonderful son, Josh, who graduated this year from McKenzie High School.  Josh plans on a career in Agriculture.

Robyn Lasater, Front Office Manager

Robyn is one of  the smiling faces you will see at the front desk. She has over 15 years in the healthcare field and will always be happy to assist you! She is an expert at  the reception area--be sure to keep her updated with your information changes! Robyn is married to Kevin Lasater currently with Diepro, and has one lovely daughter,Renee', a  graduate of the Memphis College of Art working currently with Seabrooks wallpaper designs. Be sure to watch for her at Renaissance Fairs--she is likely to be there!

Terri Delaney CPO, Front Office

Terri is another of the smiling faces you will see at our front desk! You will enjoy her enthusiasm, and she will always be happy to help you checking in and with appointments. She has recently received her Certified Paraoptometric status. Terri is married to Randy Delaney,a local carpentry expert, and has two beautiful daughters: Ashley, a student at UTM,  and Morgan who attends school in McKenzie. Look around any area campground, and you'll likely find here there on a pretty weekend! 

Rachel Balius CPO, Insurance Mgr

Rachel Balius is our ultra-efficient insurance manager to help you with your insurance problems. Rachel comes to us with 15 years of experience in the medical field and is a Certified Paraoptometric. You will enjoy her professionalism and smiles! She is married to Mike Balius, an EMT with the McKenzie Ambulance service. She has two beautiful daughters, Ashley, a pre-pharmacy student at UTM,  and Lindsey who attends school at McKenzie.

Mistee Millsap, Dispensary Staff

Mistee is one of our effcient dispensary staff members! Mistee will be happy to help you choose the best lenses and frames for your lifestyle. Everyone comments on how helpful she is! Mistee is married to Mike who works for Norandal and has 3 wonderful children: Cody, a recent graduate of McKenzie High School, Keegan, and Kinley. Watch for Mistee at the Junior High football games cheering for Keegan!

Lynda Hickman, Business Office

Lynda Hickman is the pleasant staff member that you will see in our Business Office.  She is always ready to help you with your account and able to present to you several payment options with a smile!  She is married to David Hickman from McKenzie and has two beautiful daughters:  Lauren, a recent Freed Hardeman graduate, and Meagan, a recent McKenzie High graduate. Look for Lynda at any peaceful beach soaking in the sun!

Tammy Miller, Clinical Staff

Tammy is our newest addition to the clinical staff!  And what a great addition she is...Tammy has been in health-care for several years making her very knowledgeable and caring.   She does a wonderful job pretesting you in preparation for the docs.  She has four wonderful children, Jason, a student at Gleason Elementary and three grown daughters:  Kareesa, Keshia and Kandyce. And, don't forget her precious granddaughter, Aubrey.

Genia Sherwood, Clinical Staff

Genia Sherwood has been with our clinic for over 20 years.  Genia is in clinical on Mondays and Fridays--and any other time that we can talk her into working!  Everyone loves Genia--patients and staff.  Genia is married to Steve Sherwood, a postal carrier in McKenzie and has two married children.  Ross, an engineer, and his wife, Ashley along with Latisha, a social worker, and her hubby, Jeff  are all a part of the Sherwood clan!   We are very lucky to have Genia back!
