The Optovue OCT has emerged as the standard of care in diagnosing ocular manifestations of disease such as Age Related Macula Degeneration (AMD), Glaucoma, migraines, Diabetes, retina and optic nerve disorders, etc. This technology, by performing 26,000 scans per second, gives us a 3-Dimensional MRI type image of the retina to allow access to the retina and optic nerve that we previously could not view. This allows for earlier and thorough treatment strategies!
