Dr. Scott Spivey

Dr. Scott Spivey is a graduate of the Southern College of Optometry, a Member of the American Optometric Association, the Tennessee Optometric Association, and Past President of the Northwest TN Optometric Association. He is a Member/Past President of the McKenzie Rotary Club. Dr. Scott started practice in 1994. He is a past examiner for the National Board of Optometry.
Dr Scott currently serves on the Tennessee Board of Optometry. He has served as a Deacon at First Baptist in McKenzie. He enjoys golf, hunting, camping, and coaching various children's teams. He and his wife, Dr. Jennifer Spivey, have 3 beautiful children: Brooke, Kelsey, and Luke. |

Dr. Brooke is also an honor graduate of the Southern College of Optometry and a member of the American Optometric Association. She joined her father in practice after graduation in 2021. Dr. Brooke has broadened the practices medical reach with her skills in Minor Surgical Procedures.
Dr. Brooke cares for patients of all ages and all seasons of life. She has drawn on her belief in relationship-driven practice. She believes that relationships with her patients, community members, charitable organizations, and the medical community are the heart of an excellent practice. She is married to Corey Burress, who is one of our opticians. They attend church at First Baptist in McKenzie. Dr. Brooke and Corey have two fur babies, Cash a black Labradoodle and Harlie a yellow lab mix. Keep an eye out for them at your next eye exam. They make celebrity appearances on occasion! Dr. Brooke & Corey welcomed their first child in November of 2024. She is the newest member of our marketing and social media team. Look for her on our socials! |
Allison Craddock, CPO
Allison is a Certified Paraoptometric and fully trained in optical laboratory procedures and frame styling. She strives to keep our frames the newest and best quality! Allison is the one to see to find the latest styles and lens options. She is also a past Tennessee Paraoptometric of the Year. Allison loves travel and the beach! She has two lovely daughters, Carla and Claire--both are attending college at this time.
Robyn Lasater
Robyn is one of the smiling faces you will see at the front desk. She has over 15+ years in the healthcare field and will always be happy to assist you! She is an expert at the reception area--be sure to keep her updated with your information changes! Robyn is married to Kevin Lasater and has one lovely daughter, Renee', a graduate of the Memphis College of Art. Robyn loves collecting crystals, and you'll be sure to spot her at Renaissance Fairs!
Beth Pettit
Beth is the pleasant team member that you will see in our Business Office. She is always ready to help you with your account and able to present to you several payment options with a smile! Beth has two sons who are pursuing their careers away from their hometown of Dresden, TN. Beth is also an active member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Dresden
Heather waycaster
Heather is our special testing clinical team member. You'll see her during your virtual reality visual fields, etc. She also helps out with contact lens ordering. Heather loves the beach and sports. Heather has two beautiful children -- Logan and Emma Grace. Logan works at Nissan in Cool Springs & Emma is currently a Cell and Molecular Biology major at UTM.
Corey burress
Corey is our newest optician and contact lens technician. Corey is from Martin, TN and is a jack of all trades from home construction to car sales. He joined his wife Dr. Brooke at our practice early in 2024 and brings a laid back and fun atmosphere into the optical. He is skilled at making our patients feel great about their look and provides excellent service to everyone. He loves Titans and VOLS football and all things golf related. He and Dr. Brooke are expecting their 1st child in November!
Brandy boane
Brandy is the woman behind the scenes of our optical. She takes care of all our glasses ordering and vision insurance verification. Her hard work keeps us running smoothly! Brandy lives in Gleason, TN with her husband Scott and their two sons Cinch & Hayden. As a family they enjoy the rodeo life on the weekends.
Emily Taylor
Emily is our newest ophthalmic technician. You will see her to be pretested before seeing the doctor. Emily has lots of experience in the eye care world and provides our patients with quality care with a smile. You will love her joyful spirit as she gets you ready for your exam. She also handles our referrals. Emily and her husband Michael have two boys, Peyton & Nate. They live in Dresden, TN and enjoy cheering on the VOLS every fall.
Rachel Culver
Rachel is our veteran ophthalmic technician. She is both efficient and excellent at everything she does! She provides speedy work up prior to your visit with the doctor as well as handles referrals and any other behind the scenes tasks the doctors need completed. Rachel is the mother of two wonderful children Lexi and Eli who currently attend the Dresden school system.
Shannon cobb
The new face at the front desk. Shannon is here to handle all your scheduling needs. She has a bright and sweet personality that makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door! Shannon and her husband have two kids and two wiener dogs that keep them on their toes. They spend lots of their time at ball games and track meets. They are also members of Huntingdon Church or Christ.
